Former Group CTO and multi-country regional CTO with over thirty years in telecommunications. I help operators execute network transformation, lead M&A technology integration, and drive large-scale programmes and vendor sourcing, bringing structure, speed, and accountability to complex work.
I have spent my career inside multinational telecommunications operators: as Group CTO, regional CTO, Chief Procurement Officer, and large-scale programme director. The work has consistently sat where strategy meets execution. Aligning technology with business objectives, managing multi-billion euro CAPEX and OPEX portfolios, negotiating major vendor contracts, and delivering through cross-functional teams spread across multiple countries.
The transformations I am most known for include the integration of multi-country operations following PPF's acquisition of Telenor assets in Central and Eastern Europe, supporting the Wind-Three merger in Italy, and leading group-level technology strategy and procurement at scale.
What I bring is pragmatism. Large telco programmes fail not for lack of vision but for lack of disciplined execution. That means making hard trade-offs, holding vendors accountable, and keeping multinational teams aligned through political and operational complexity. That is the work I do.
Today I operate independently under the RSTCOM brand. I take on interim leadership mandates, board and executive advisory engagements, and defined-scope transformation programmes where senior-level ownership is what's missing.
